My New Replica Watch Purchase – EBEL 1911 Discovery with Asian 7750
Finally I this watch finds its home on my wrist! I become pickier and pickier with the enlargement of my replica watch collection. You know this is my first replica watch in more than one years !I’ve been looking for a decent replica of Ebel 1911 Chronograph since I came across a picture of a gen. But the replica market just provided some low end versions (with cheap quartz movements ) at the beginning. It was no until this spring that the replica watches manufacturers produced the the EBEL 1911 Discovery with 7750 movement. And my painful long-waiting was finally paid off. I quickly took action and purchased one. Well， here comes my review about my lovely replica EBEL 1911 Discovery.
The Movement:
The gen is fitted with the Caliber 137 which is independently designed, developed and assembled by Ebel. This expensive movement boasts an innovative function-it can be wound in both directions. Of course, the asian 7750 movement inside my rep can not compete with Caliber 137, but it is quite accurate and reliable.
The Dial:
It’s often bit of a pain to decide between the different dial variations. Usually the white versions aren’t that popular among watch lovers, but the Discovery is an exception. The “Panda” dial is simply breathtaking and it definitely my cup of tea . White dial watches can sometimes be a bit “understated”, especially if they have silver hands. The dark subdials and hand tips create very nice contrast, and the dial is highly accurate. Print quality and double-AR are impressive as well. Ebels don’t have much luminous areas on the dials at all, not gens or reps. Only the hands glow.
The bracelet and clasp:
One of lovely features of Ebels watches, in my eyes, is the “hidden clasp”. It’s very neat system and an important innovation. The bracelet itself reminds me of the Omega Speedmaster. It’s made of brushed stainless steel and has those typical small polished “stripes”. Very good quality “rounded” bracelet, which fits with the wrist perfectly. But unlike some unique looking Ebel bracelets in the past, design wise this is nothing extraordinary. One of my friend said that the bracelet was not very large and I was a bit worried about this. Luckily, the bracelet turn out fit my big wrist perfectly as I love to wear watch in tight status.
Like mentioned in the beginning , this is my first replica watch bought in one year. I almost lost my breath when I opened the package the day it came to me- It was a truly beauty. I will love to wear it for quite a long time.
